Welcome to my Media dental office!  I am a gentle caring Media PA dentist – I love dentistry and my patients, whom I care for in the same way I would want my own family to be treated!  My goal is to help you preserve your dental health, ease your concerns and LOVE YOUR SMILE!

Whether you need a gentle family Delaware county dentist or have specific needs such as dental implants to replace missing teeth, clear braces or traditional wired braces, dental crowns (caps), or treatment of your gums for periodontal disease, our office will provide expert dental care of the highest quality.  All my dental care, which I provide personally, is delivered at an affordable price in a warm and friendly atmosphere, using state-of-the-art procedures.  You do not have to compromise quality in order to find an affordable dentist.  At MediaPAdentist, superior quality dentistry is our one and only level of care.

My Background

I received my DMD degree in Europe where I was born.  I moved to Philadelphia in1972, and have been a resident of Delaware County for the past 35 years.  I completed advanced post-graduate training at Penn, and joined the Faculty of Penn’s Dental School.  I opened my own dental practice in Media, Delaware County, 30 years ago. I have completed multiple certifications and thousands of hours of continuing dental education.  Relying on my extensive education and experience, I deliver outstanding, gentle, state-of-the-art dental care to each of my patients.

My Office

When I opened my office in Media 30 years ago, I found wonderful friends among my patients, from toddlers to great-grandparents.  I believe in highly personalized dental care.  There is no cookie-cutter approach in my office.  I emphasize both the ART and SCIENCE of dentistry.  After all, there is no smile exactly like yours! And I pledge to personally provide ALL your dental care, whether you need a gentle cleaning, fillings, braces, or dental implants.

In our modern Media dental office, I offer a full range of cosmetic, family and implant dental services for children, teens, adults and senior citizens.  We can address nearly all your dental needs, ranging from gentle preventive dental care to dental emergencies, as well as cosmetic restorations, dental crowns, bridges, dentures, periodontal treatment for your gums, traditional and clear braces, and dental implants to replace missing teeth.  We respect your time; our patients are seated promptly.  Because you deserve relaxed personal attention, we reserve a one-hour appointment time slot exclusively for you.

We are conveniently located on Route 352 in Media, just 1 mile from the Granite Run Mall, and a short distance form Route 1, I-476 and I-95.  There is ample parking a few steps from our door and we are accessible by public transportation.

My  Qualifications

Education and Post-graduate Training

I was fortunate to receive a marvelous education in Europe, Canada and the Unites States.  I earned my dental DMD degree from Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary.  After graduating first in my class, I was appointed Assistant Professor at Semmelweis University. I earned my Masters of Science degree in Electron Microscopic Anatomy from McGill, and completed 3 years of Dental Post-Graduate training in Oral Medicine at Penn. I became a Faculty Member of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where I taught other dentists and dental students.  I authored a textbook for dental professionals and served as Director of the Oral Medicine Clinic at Penn.  Thirty years ago, I opened my Media dental office to meet the needs of my neighbors in Media, Lima, Springfield, Brookhaven, Aston, Upper Providence, Noether Providence, Edgemont and the surrounding communities of Delaware County, Pennsylvania.

Continuing Education

In the past two years, I have fulfilled the required 30 hours of Continuing Dental Education Credits for dentists in Pennnsylvania, but I did much more.  Since 2007, I have completed a total of 170 hours of additional advanced training in orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and dental implants.  A life-long learner, I am constantly mastering the latest and safest dental procedures because I believe my patients deserve only the best!

On  A  Personal  Note…

I am married to Catherine, a practing physician at duPont Hospital for Children.  Our family includes two sons and we have just welcomed another grandchild!  Besides dentistry, I enjoy all types of music, swimming, lifting weights, bicycling and and driving our timeless 1995 white convertible.
